Viewers and moviegoers have finally begun to realize that the listening experience can be improved by adding an external soundbar. Beosound Stage is Bang & Olufsen’s solution for those looking for impressive sound but without compromising on the aesthetic result. It looks more like a piece of furniture than a tech product. The luxurious construction materials combine design with the best possible sound technology and the result is maximum flexibility in terms of placement, materials and use.
With our first soundbar, we give everyone the chance to experience the Bang & Olufsen sound in their living room, as Beosound Stage works with any tv that supports HDMI ARC. With four woofers in the eleven driver setup, no additional subwoofer is required.
Beosound Stage offers a 3-channel audio system with an upper center channel for optimized speech reproduction. The viewing experience is further enhanced with Dolby Atmos, a mode where sound moves around you in a three-dimensional space. Beosound Stage includes eleven speaker drivers, each driven by its own amplifier, and the result is a three-channel, fully active, DSP-based speaker solution that delivers ultra-clear and rich sound.
The design style of NORM Architects is sharp and distinctive and focuses on quality, details and durability rather than trends or technology. Elements that fit perfectly with the philosophy of Bang & Olufsen. The inspiration behind Beosound Stage is Scandinavian aesthetics combined with Japanese minimalism. The core of the idea is the flexibility of placement: it can be placed under the TV, on a shelf, or mounted on the wall. Its design reflects the simplicity of expression. The aluminum or wood frame is an infinite line that extends around the product and encloses under the soft fabric front covering, the mechanism and the speakers. The control buttons are integrated as a detail that interrupts uniformity but are at the same time a visual continuation of the infinite line.
